I have Ace Money running on my PC and now want to buy a license for my Mac. But before I do that, I want to be sure the files created on Windows machine can be read by Mac version. I'm assuming they can, but we know about assumptions, don't we! I trust I can use either Insync or Dropbox to synchronize between PC and Mac.
BTW, I'm several months now into using Ace Money and still celebrating liberation from Quicken. A few annoyances, but as seasoned users predicted when I first started, I gladly put up with them for all the graces.

Re: Ace Money files cross-platform?
The Mac version is just the Windows version running inside the Wine emulator. So yes, the data file is compatible. And yes, you can use whatever sync tool you want to share the data file between the two machines (provided you have licenses for them), that only one machine is accessing the file at a time, and that you have enabled sharing in the data file's Password setup.
