2 computers simultaneously accessing the same data file

I understand AceMoney is not setup for 2 users at once but my question is why does the program allow 2 users to access the same data file at the same time. Normally a program would not allow the 2nd user into the already open data file as this could cause data errors. This could occur if I in error leave AceMoney open on 1 computer and then open the same data file in AceMoney on the second computer. Has anyone else had this issue and have any solutions to avoid this? Thanks for your assistance.
