There is category and there is sub category and then there are the transactions themselves to drill down into.
cat:subcat
which is good for analysis.

A supercategory, grouping a number of related categories, would be good too because it gives a global view. Global means the number of things we can hold in our mind and relate together at the same time, which most of us is maybe five things.

Is there anyway to have a third level that could synthesise up for an overview pie chart or report?
This would be a very powerful aid to the busy user!

This would be a really neat solution as it would give a high level synthesis overview plus allow a detailed view for analysis.
