words in search query ignored

I get this all the time... "words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words"

too long... too short... too common... and there aren't even that many threads/posts to begin with.

Would someone please reduce the restrictions to searching the forum?

Only the forum admins can change the search options and rebuild the search index. All of the current admins are members of MechCAD, and they are not very responsive here. Try submitting a ticket to MechCAD Support directly.

I just noticed this problem too. For example the word "import" fails as being too common. I don't recall it always being like this.

As a workaround you can search in Google as follows

site:forums.mechcad.net yoursearchword
