Not loading transactions which do not match and import rule

Hi,
I have a slightly strange problem. I have loaded in quite a few transactions and it has worked fine. The import rules have worked and where there has not been a match I have categorised manually. The problem is that with a recent batch I deleted it and reloaded it. I now find that only the transactions which match an import rule are loaded and the rest are missing. I have tried deleting and reloading a couple of times without success. Any ideas anyone please?

I've never had a problem with transactions go missing, let alone due to import rules. Import Rules don't govern what transactions are imported, only how they are categorized.
