Import of QIF file changes transaction dates

Post by FredJSquirrel »

I tried to search for this, but all the relevant words were rejected so I can't.

I am trying to import the transactions from my Quicken 2015 data file into AceMoney.
I followed the instructions and successfully imported the transactions.

However, large chunks of the dates are wrong. For example most of the dates for May, 2018 are all entered as May, 13, 2018.

From looking at the QIF file it looks like the date output is wrong.

Is there anyway I can fix this?

Thanks.

Does the QIF file itself have the wrong dates to begin with? Or are they correct, and AceMoney is importing them wrong? If the latter, than you will have to file a bug report with MechCAD Support.

The dates in the QIF file are correct. However, they are DD/MM/YY. Not sure if this is the issue or not. Quicken displays them as YYYY/MM/DD and AceMoney as MM/DD/YYYY. Could this be the problem? Can I change the date format on Imports in AceMoney? If so how?

When you import a file, the import dialog gives you the option of choosing the date format and date separator. "Day/Month/Year" is one of the available options.
