Account balance reporting

Post by Paul Gee »

Hi All....I have been told how to achieve this but I have forgotten;
I'd like to be able to create a report, as I could in MS Money, to see exactly what my total account balances were on any particular given previous date....I.E, how rich, or poor, was I six months ago?

Help anyone?
Regards,

AceMoney doesn't have a report for that specific use case, but you can get the amounts you want by running a "Spending by Accounts" report and change the date range so the "From" date is the first date in the file and the "To" date is the desired date you want to check.

Indeed, submitted a request to see if separate totals were possible on the accounts page with investments total listed separately.

e.g.
An option for a subtotal of Bank, cash and credits, a subtotal of investments and the existing grand total (or an option to exclude accounts from the total).

At the moment I have to keep track of my meagre savings in an excel spreadsheet, if I put them in AceMoney there is no option to subtract them thus I can't tell how much I have to spend.

Anyway, I got a blunt response

"Such specific settings are not possible."

Wonderful support :)

Perhaps it is time to look at an alternate product?
