How to get to settings on new Androids?

Post by Pete »

On my new Android I cannot access Settings on AMR.

One button closes the app, the other takes me to all recently opened apps - on my old phone a short tap on this button opened settings

AceMoney Receipts has not been updated to modern Android UI guidelines. To access the old menu on modern devices, you have to long-press (hold down for a few seconds) either the Recent Apps button or the Back button, depending on your particular device (on my Galaxy S7 Edge running Android 7.0, it is the Back button, as long-pressing the Recent Apps button activates a Split Screen mode).

I filed a support ticket on this issue awhile back ago:

Thanks for that, but unfortunately on my Oppo A57 with Android 6.01 neither of these option works.

How do I simulate menu button on Android 6?. On my device, turning on Android's Assistant Menu and then using its "More Options" item displays AceMoney's menu.

Thanks again, but it looks like OPPO left some features out in their version of Android.
