I'm an Acemoney fan. I tried quicken but I really prefer Acemoney!

Just let me say, I've seen that development of new features actually stopped in the last months.
Is there a reason?

Development has not stopped. MechCAD just tends to be very quiet about what they are working on. Just a few weeks ago, MechCAD mentioned that they are still working on the iOS version of AceMoney Receipts and it will be available "in relatively near future".

Only MechCAD can answer that for sure. But there have been no announcements that development has stopped or been delayed.
