Account transactions reversed

I have been using the program for years and this is the first hiccup I've had.

Today I was updating my transactions and I noticed one of the credit accounts (MasterCard) had an very high positive balance.

It seems that after a certain date the deposits are being treated as withdrawals and vice-versa.

I tried a bunch of different things like loading from a previous backup (unfortunately it just backed up today as well), and also trying to copy and paste the transactions to a new credit account. I also tried changing the account to a bank account and back to credit but with no difference.

I would have just re-downloaded all the transactions again since 2012 but I don't have access to them anymore.

Any ideas?

I'm using version 4.3.

It seems that after a certain date the deposits are being treated as withdrawals and vice-versa.

The transaction's date has no effect on how the transaction's amount is handled. Deposits and Withdrawals are determined by whether the transaction's total amount is positive or negative.

Do you only have one backup? Are you enabling AceMoney's "Add date to backup file name" option?

I also tried changing the account to a bank account and back to credit but with no difference.

The account type does not effect how transaction amounts are processed.

I'm using version 4.3.

The latest is 4.36.1.

I couldn't find the backup option you mentioned. Maybe I have to update the software.

I took this photo of the transactions. You will notice just above the 1000 payment I made to the card, the withdrawals now start to reduce the balance of the credit card.

I couldn't find the backup option you mentioned. Maybe I have to update the software.

Maybe. Backup has been a feature for a long time, and adding dates to backup files has been available for at least several years. On the top main menu, go to Tools, then Backup, and enable the "Add date to backup file name" option.

I can't see anything in that picture, it is too distorted.
