Re: Matching transactions
Alternatively, you can use scheduled transactions for forward planning, but not have then entered automatically. When you download transactions from the bank, skip the scheduled one that matches it. Julie I tried that but when I go to delete the scheduled transaction, it deletes all future ...

Re: Matching transactions
No the best way to use the program is to rely on the downloaded transactions only and dont enter them manually. This is acceptable usually for a home accounting program alone (which is what it is) where you can live with a slight delay to your transaction entering, but this program certainly isnt ...

Re: Matching transactions
Set the program to check for duplicates when downloading but remember this isnt foolproof. Always check your programs final balance matches the online statements final balance. And dont download partial days always choose a cut off day so you work in complete days - doing it at a weekend is a good ...

Re: Matching transactions
I opened a ticket with the help desk asking how to do this just this last Monday (1/14/13), and have heard nothing back yet. I also ask about two other features; wanting the transaction date to remain what I inputted, not be changed to the cleared date for those transactions that do match up. Also ...

Re: Matching transactions
There are 2 transactions -- the one I entered and the one that is downloaded. Do I have to delete one of them? In MS Money, when you match the transactions, they are merged.

How to disable Quicken Direct Connect
Just started using AceMoney and I apparently enrolled in my bank's Quicken Direct Connect when I downloaded transactions using AceMoney. Fortunately, my bank sent me an email notifying me that I enrolled for this service which costs $9.95 per month. So I was able to cancel it but bank was unable to ...

Re: New user migrating from MS Money
I have everything in MS Money -- portfolio, credit cards, bank accounts, recurring bills and payments. I could start from scratch since it's beginning of the year. I would rather start from scratch than have to fix anything that doesn't import into AceMoney correctly. What about transactions I have ...

I am finally resigned to not being able to continue using MS Money and have decided to migrate to AceMoney. Can you offer any tips, tricks, and caveats? I am on Windows 8. Thanks.
