Just started using AceMoney and I apparently enrolled in my bank's Quicken Direct Connect when I downloaded transactions using AceMoney. Fortunately, my bank sent me an email notifying me that I enrolled for this service which costs $9.95 per month. So I was able to cancel it but bank was unable to tell me how to turn this feature off in AceMoney. Can anyone tell me how to disable this and avoid enrolling again? Thanks.

AceMoney does not register with banks. You had to have entered your bank's Direct Connect info into the "Online Setup" section of the "Properties" dialog of your bank account in AceMoney, and then told AceMoney to download transactions from that bank. None of that is automatic, you had to have set it up manually. Chances are that your bank then detected AceMoney's login into your bank account (which usually requires an authenticated account number and username/password) and auto-registered you to start billing for the service (many banks charge for Direct Connect, but you usually have to pre-register to use it). If you don't want to use Direct Connect anymore, then you need to go into the "Online Setup" for your bank account in AceMoney and uncheck the "Download transactions for this account" option.
