error code 3 saving problem

Have been updating my amj file for hours and now when I try to save it tells me I have a user code 3 error, "maybe the disk is not in the drive". I did replace laptops a few months ago (have been a while since I used Ace money), could the new laptop be the problem? I reinstalled Ace Money with my old registration code, and just started working on the old amj file today. Help, I don't want to lose hours worth of work.

I'm assuming you don't have Auto-Save enabled? That would have alerted you to a problem sooner rather than later.
In any case, you probably do not have access to the folder you are trying to save the file to. Or the folder really does not exist. Simply choose a different folder to save to. You SHOULD be using a folder that is within your Windows user profile, such as in "My Documents", or a sub-folder therein.
