Prevent Saving of New Payees

How do I prevent Ace Money from saving new payees?
I looked in options and didn't see anything.

There is no such option, nor is it really feasible anyway. If you import transactions, either online or through AceMoney Receipts, AceMoney has to be able to create new payees that have not been seen before.
Why would you need this?
On the Payees screen, you can edit existing payees (such as rename imported payees), merge duplicate payees, and delete unused payees.
