I was wondering just where the servers are and who controls them to which data is uploaded? Is it possible to transfer data from AceMoney Receipts directly to one's own computer via a cable hookup in lieu of uploading to the cloud then downloading to the desktop?

If not, that would be a nice feature.

AceMoney Receipts uploads its data to Amazon AWS (the AceMoney desktop app accesses "amo.mechcad.net" when downloading transactions from the Cloud, and that hostname resolves to a server on the "amazonaws.com" domain).

Sadly, there is no such option in AMR. I was hoping that would be an option when I first heard about AMR years ago, but alas, no (when I was implementing my own Blackberry mobile app for AceMoney before AMR came out, I was planning on using a cable for syncing).
