AceMoney - Mojave ready?
AceMoney - Mojave ready?
Does anyone know whether AceMoney and Wineskin will be updated in a timely manner for when MacOS Mojave is released? There was a considerable lag when High Sierra was released which impacted many users.
Re: AceMoney - Mojave ready?
I have requested this information when Apple released prior versions of its OS but have never had a satisfactory answer. They apparently do not work with the macOS beta and we seem to be a small community (macOS X) so they wait until the new OS is released and figure out whether thinfgs work. For something I depend on every day this is a high risk situation. I have also asked for a native version of AM but to no avail. As of 2019 I am switching to a native macOS/IOS finance manager that is very similar to AM. I like AM but ...

Thanks Pete. I may have to do the same as depend on this product as you do. Pity Mechcad still sell this product but don't provide much in the way of tech. support. I would appreciate you providing a link or info. on the "native macOS/IOS finance manager" that you mention.
thanks

Re: AceMoney - Mojave ready?
Thanks Pete. I also lodged a support ticket with Mechcad and received the following reply:
"Date: 2018-09-27 12:23:16
Name: Goran Vuletic
Printer friendly version
Message:
Yes, it will work on Mojave, it has been tested.
Regards,

So will go ahead and update to Mojave - good news

Re: AceMoney - Mojave ready
I upgraded to Mojave Version 10.14 & AceMoney works well. It took several seconds to open the first couple of times but then settled down. This may have been related to the fact that the money file is in Dropbox in the cloud.

Re: AceMoney - Mojave ready?
AM does seem to startup a little slower than it did on High Sierra but it does work just fine. AM file is on my SSD.

Mine does not work at all on Mojave since the latest Ace money update. Crashes in less than a minute every time.
