I am so glad I found this!
Old computer crashed...bought new one and reinstalled my purchased version of ACEMONEY. Tried to open all of my old files (mmw) but they have been converted to amj files. I cannot go to old computer to adjust settings. Have I lost all of my files...6 years worth???? Old budgets, current and new year. LOVE THIS PRODUCT but lack of tech support is a problem!

You posted just fine, you just had not been approved by a moderator yet.

You really should have posted your question as a new topic, not as a reply to an old discussion.

That is what AceMoney is supposed to do. AceMoney uses AMJ now. MMW is supported only for backwards compatibility. AMJ is just an encrypted MMW.

No, of course not. AceMoney did not do anything with your existing MMW files. They still exist right where you left them. All of your financial data is intact and was simply saved to new encrypted AMJ files, that's all. Use those from now on.

What is the actual problem you are having?

I prefer these kind of forums to the Yahoo Groups. I have a hard time navigating those groups. These are laid out much better and easier to read.
